Rae and I had a really challenging week. We’re just beginning to mentally recover from it now. I’d written a blog about all the stuff that happened, but it’s not the kind of heavy stuff I want to include in a blog about S & M’s wedding. So it’s deleted, and instead I’m going to focus on what makes me happy about this wedding. There’s a lot to be happy about here. Check it out. First, M (the groom) is the brother of a former client (bride) whose wedding we photographed the year before. It’s of course flattering to be hired again by the same family, but in addition to that, this family is so friendly and welcoming that…well, we were touched. Second, everybody was really able to emote well. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen crying or laughing as hard as at this wedding. Third, cool surprises. The groom secretly had tickets to an Ireland honeymoon and nobody spilled the beans to the bride, whose dream was to go there. It was quite a sight when M announced it to her.
I’m thankful to be posting this wedding now. It’s got all the emotions in epic amounts.
We hope you enjoy some of our favourite moments.
