One of the first things that really impressed us about Erin & Madeleine was that when they were choosing their wedding photographer (months ago), they asked us for reviews from previous clients. Photography was important to them and they wanted to be confident that whoever they hired could be trusted with the job. Though we have a lot of fun during our shoots, we take our job seriously and it felt great that Erin & Madeleine were also earnest about photography. It was also excellent that during our first interview they introduced us to a new and fantastic coffee shop, the Kwacha House Cafe in Halifax. And for their engagement shoot, they introduced us to an even more amazing location, a colourful maze of wooded paths and abandoned and graffitied buildings that are presumably war relics, at York Redoubt. It was such an amazing day. . . We hope you enjoy a few highlights (keep an eye out for the ocean waves, a few photos down).
