As I mentioned in my previous blog, late summer/early fall is our peak season. It’s the time of the year when I really start cutting corners. This morning, instead of brushing my teeth, I gargled with mouthwash (or was that coffee?). My emails are shorter. My social life is even deader than usual. Instead of cooking food, I eat from boxes and bags. Instead of exercising, meditation and journaling, I work, work and work. Sadly, blogging is another thing that I am sacrificing to my current lord and master, Productivity.
Let me say this though: This wedding was charming. It was beautiful and you could tell that T & E were totally committed to each other. 99% of a wedding is optional I think. Cake, dress, parental approval, photography, a party: these are all nice things, but they’re gravy. The part that is necessary is that the couple are committed and that they love each other. I salute T & E for their commitment and love.
