If you’re a client of ours, chances are that you’ve met us at Uncommon Grounds, a locally-owned coffee shop that’s a favourite spot of ours. I think it was April of this year that we were heading to Uncommon Grounds to meet Cassie and Luke. Having arrived early, we secured coffees and seats for the four of us in the comfy chairs.
Four seats weren’t enough.
Cassie and Luke came surrounded by family and we all chatted, laughed and took up a substantial corner of the coffee shop. Rae and I left the meeting feeling great. Though the wedding was months and months away, we already knew some of the family (some of whom were also to be part of the wedding party) and knew that we were at ease. And when in October the wedding came, it was just as inclusive and welcoming as we thought it would be. Family and friends were at the core. It’s how they roll.
They’re a young couple, in love, surrounded by a network of support.
